The pop right now has good info. I would be great to have access to the timer under assigned and owned. At least to start and stop the timer. This would prevent us from having to click on tasks to get our list of tasks to start timers on. -

Being able to start and stop timers from the task pop up / hover view launched a few months back. Here is a blog post that might be worth a look.
