Intervals has always had a feature that enabled people to enter multiple time entries at once. However, it required a lot of clicks and was tedious when adding time for the entire week. Based on recent customer feedback, we decided to reimagine this feature.
The new page for adding multiple time entries for the entire week is a complete overhaul and had two goals in mind. First, to reduce the number of clicks when filling out your weekly timesheet and to make it more visually consistent with the weekly timesheet view. For those who want to record their time at the end of the day or week, this new feature is for you.
To get started using this feature, click on the Add Multiple Time Entries link found under the Time tab. Then select a project on the first row to enable entering time on it. You can also add more rows using the Add Another Row button.
This is our first iteration of this new feature and we already plan to add more to it. One such improvement already in the works is to add a Copy button for copying rows. If you have any ideas for how we can improve adding time for an entire week, please let us know.
And for those who still want to use the previous form, it is still available in your account. The link to it is at the bottom of this new feature.
