Popular Science Magazine September 1929Every Memorial Day weekend the Intervals team likes to take a break from the digital realm of computers and code. For three days we go analog, drawing on the ground with chalk. We have been participating in the annual I Madonnari Italian Street Painting Festival in Santa Barbara, California, for over fifteen years.

This year’s rendition is from the September 1929 cover of Popular Science magazine, an illustration by Herbert Paus.
