New Feature: HipChat Integration with the Work Request Queue

John Reeve | November 18th, 2014 | , , ,

HipChat Integration for IntervalsThe request queue within Intervals project and time management programs has a new feature that integrates incoming work requests with HipChat, the popular messaging app. When a new work request shows up in your request queue, Intervals will notify your HipChat room.

Once the message appears in your HipChat room it becomes part of your chat history, where you can discuss it with your team, and click on the link to view more details and assign the request as a task.

Integrating your request queue with HipChat is a quick and simple process. To get started using this feature, log in to your account and go to Tasks -> Request Queue, and click on the “Manage HipChat Settings” link. Then follow the instructions to get your HipChat API token.

More information about configuring HipChat integration is available here on the official Intervals support site.
